Guided Garden Tour with Head Gardener David Kesteven

Renishaw’s very own Head Gardener, David Kesteven, will be leading the walk across the beautiful award-winning Italianate Gardens and Lakes and around the site of the old kitchen garden.

David will take you on a guided tour, explaining areas of history along the way. Crossing the garden, the walk then enters Broxhill Woods and through the newly expanded woodland garden before a steep descent to Renishaw’s breath-taking lakes. The walk continues around Renishaw’s largest lake, hopefully sporting some interesting wild fowl en route before a steep ascent back to the car park

With over 20 beautiful areas to explore, the gardens are perfect for meeting and making memories with your loved ones. The changing seasons welcome a variety of blooms, such as the English native bluebells, hybrid magnolias and oriental poppies. Our young visitors particularly favour the woodland area, which hosts a fun-filled play area, silhouettes of familiar cartoon characters and a special jungle surprise.

There are plenty of opportunities to discover something new at Renishaw or to be immersed in your favourite nature surrounding. We highly recommend garden enthusiasts visit the National Collection of Yuccas, which houses over 40 species in the Orangery located North of the Top Lawn.

Please note -

The Hall is not open for general browsing, as is a lived-in family home. Access is by guided tour only and must be pre-booked in advance as spaces are limited. Hall tours include Garden entry.
