Gardens of Renishaw Hall
The longstanding vision of Sir George Sitwell is the cornerstone of the stunning gardens that exist today. Between 1965 and 2009, Sir Reresby & Lady Penelope Sitwell made vast improvements to the grounds, complementing the already-prominent Italianate theme that Sir George admired. Alexandra has overseen additional changes to the gardens since taking over in 2009, with the help of Renishaw’s seasoned gardening team.
With over 20 beautiful areas to explore, the gardens are perfect for meeting and making memories with your loved ones. The changing seasons welcome a variety of blooms, such as the English native bluebells, hybrid magnolias and oriental poppies. Our young visitors particularly favour the woodland area, which hosts a fun-filled play area, silhouettes of familiar cartoon characters and a special jungle surprise.
There are plenty of opportunities to discover something new at Renishaw or to be immersed in your favourite nature surrounding. We highly recommend garden enthusiasts visit the National Collection of Yuccas, which houses over 40 species in the Orangery located North of the Top Lawn.
Please note - RHS & Gardeners World Day are valid on Wednesdays and Thursdays ONLY. HHA are valid Wednesday to Sunday and include discounted tickets for Guided Hall Tours.
Memberships other than Renishaw Hall Season Ticket Holders are NOT VALID ON EVENT DAYS
